One of Diane’s most remarkable qualities was her ability to strike up a conversation with complete strangers, making them feel like long-lost friends. She found peace and joy in life's simple pleasures, such as leisurely floats down the Washougal River, immersing herself in a good book, or enjoying quiet afternoons in her garden among her plants. Her goldendoodle, Bella, was a beloved companion, reflecting Diane's deep love and appreciation for all furry animals and nature. As an ardent believer in the Golden Rule, Diane generously gave her time to assist friends with projects and make meaningful contributions to her community.
The legacy Diane leaves behind is one of kindness, love, and an indomitable spirit of adventure. She was openhearted and had an effortless ability to connect with everyone she met.
May her journey continue while enveloped in the nurturing glow of the sunlight she so loved. She will be forever missed.
